Cardiology Courses

Cardiology Courses

Fifteen programmes. One standard.

From your first transthoracic view to reporting a prosthetic valve. From a systematic ECG sequence to a six-month board plan. Every course is written and taught by practising clinicians, capped for interaction, and certified on completion.

How the courses run

Designed around a working doctor’s week

You are on call, you have a list, and you have a family. The format assumes all three.

Live online or self-paced

Attend the live cohort, or take the recordings at your own pace. Both routes carry the same assessment and the same certificate.

Capped cohorts

Live cohorts are intake-limited so that questions get answered and cases get argued, rather than typed into a void.

Lifetime access

Enrol once and keep the material — including the updates when the guidelines change.

Assessed & certified

Each course ends with an image-based or case-based assessment and a certificate of completion carrying your name and the date.

The catalogue

Seven tracks, fifteen courses

Pick a track and work through it, or take a single workshop. Nothing is a prerequisite for anything else unless it says so.

EchocardiographyThree progressive levels
Level 12–4 weeks / 2–4 days

Echocardiography — Beginner

Ultrasound physics and knobology, probe handling, the standard TTE views, and simple functional assessment you can rely on from the first scan.

Level 23–6 weeks / 3–5 days

Echocardiography — Intermediate

Quantitative LV and RV measurement, diastolic function, valvular quantification and the discipline of a reproducible report.

Advanced4–8 weeks / 4–6 days

Echocardiography — Advanced & Comprehensive Reporting

Complex and prosthetic valves, advanced haemodynamics, strain imaging, and reporting that stands up in an MDT.

ECG & ArrhythmiaFoundation to emergency-grade
Foundation1–2 days / weekend

Essential ECG Interpretation for Clinicians

A systematic reading sequence — rate, rhythm, axis, intervals, ischaemia — and the common pitfalls that catch experienced clinicians.

Clinical1–2 days

ECG in Acute Coronary Syndromes & Emergencies

STEMI, STEMI equivalents, NSTEMI patterns, de Winter, Wellens, posterior and right ventricular infarction — read under time pressure.

Clinical1–2 days

Arrhythmia & Conduction Disorder Workshop

Recognition and management of SVT, VT, atrial fibrillation and AV block, with practical algorithms you can use on call.

Heart Failure & CardiomyopathyGuideline into practice
Applied2–3 days / modular

Heart Failure — Practical Management

Four-pillar therapy translated into real prescribing, titration schedules, device indications and the decisions that actually change mortality.

Clinical2 days / weekend

Cardiomyopathies — Echo & Clinical Integration

Dilated, hypertrophic, restrictive and infiltrative disease — where the echo, the ECG, the MRI and the history have to agree.

Critical Care & PerioperativeFor the acute end of the hospital
Specialist2–3 days / modular

Cardiology for ICU & Emergency Physicians

Shock classification, bedside echo, tamponade, acute RV failure and pulmonary embolism — cardiology as it presents at 3 a.m.

Applied1–2 days

Perioperative & Anaesthesia Cardiac Assessment

Pre-operative risk stratification, intra-operative haemodynamics, and when to delay an operation rather than optimise a patient.

Paediatric & CongenitalIntroductory track
Introductory2–4 days / modular

Basics of Paediatric Echocardiography

Segmental anatomy, the sequential approach, and the congenital lesions a general echocardiographer must not miss.

Exam-Oriented & ReviewBuilt around the blueprint
Exam prep4–8 weeks / weekend

Cardiology High-Yield Review — USMLE / PLAB / NEET-SS / DM

Structured, high-yield revision mapped to the major examination blueprints, paired with the Academy question bank and a six-month study plan.

Applied2–4 weeks, evenings

Image-Based Cardiology & Echo MCQ Course

Visual learning through ECGs, echo loops and angiographic stills, assessed with exam-style multiple-choice questions.

Focused Workshops & MasterclassesOne topic, taken to depth
Specialist1–2 days

Valve Disease Masterclass

Mitral, aortic and tricuspid disease assessed as one problem — severity grading, timing of intervention, and the trials that set the thresholds.

Clinical1 day intensive

ACS & Chest Pain Pathway Workshop

Structured chest-pain pathways for the emergency department and the ward, from triage troponin to catheter lab activation.

Dr. A M Thirugnanam

MD, MSICP, FSCAI, Ph.D. — Senior Interventional Cardiologist

Every course, textbook and CME session published by the Academy is written, reviewed and signed off by a practising senior interventional cardiologist — not by a content team. That is the whole reason the Academy exists: teaching material that survives contact with a real cath lab, a real ICU and a real board examination.

  • Interventional Cardiology
  • Complex PCI
  • Structural Heart
  • Medical Education
  • Author & Researcher

What that means for you

  • Landmark trials cited by name — SYNTAX, EXCEL, ISCHEMIA, PARTNER, COAPT, TWILIGHT
  • Guideline updates folded in within weeks, not editions
  • Case material drawn from 35+ countries
  • Every clinical page carries a named author and review date

Course FAQ

Before you enrol

Academy courses carry a certificate of completion stating the assessed hours. Formal CME accreditation varies by country and by council; check the certificate against your own council’s requirements before claiming credit.

No. Roughly half of every echo and ECG cohort is made up of physicians, intensivists, anaesthetists, emergency doctors and cardiac nursing leads.

Take the live cohort if you want your own images and cases reviewed. Take self-paced if your rota makes a fixed weekly slot unrealistic. The certificate is identical.

Fees are quoted in US dollars and processed in INR through Razorpay. Your card issuer applies the conversion; we do not add a surcharge.

Yes — every membership tier carries member pricing on every course. If you are planning to take two or more courses, membership usually costs less than the discount it saves you.

Yes. Institutional cohorts are run on your dates, on site or online, with the case material adapted to your case mix. Contact us for a proposal.

Recordings are posted within 48 hours and stay in your account permanently. Nothing expires.

Yes — a full refund is available up to seven days after the cohort starts, provided you have not downloaded the full handbook. See the refund policy.
