These terms govern your use of academyofelitedoctors.com and of everything the Academy of Elite Doctors provides through it: membership, courses and CME programmes, events, the reading list, the case library and the member directory. By using the site or buying from it, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are and what this site is

The Academy of Elite Doctors is a medical education and professional membership platform founded by Dr A M Thirugnanam, MD, MSICP, FSCAI, Ph.D., Senior Interventional Cardiologist. It exists to provide continuing education, structured courses, research support and a verified professional community for cardiologists, physicians, trainees and allied healthcare professionals.

2. Educational purpose and clinical disclaimer

Everything published here — courses, case discussions, images, quizzes, books and articles — is for education and professional development. It is not medical advice, it does not establish a doctor-patient relationship, and it must not be used as the sole basis for a clinical decision. Clinicians remain responsible for their own patients and must verify drug doses, device specifications and protocols against current manufacturer information and the guidelines that apply in their jurisdiction. Patients and members of the public should consult their own treating physician.

3. Accounts and membership

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, resold or transferred. The Academy may suspend or terminate an account that is shared, that is used to redistribute paid material, or that is used in a way that harms other members. Verification of qualifications for the member directory depends on the documents you supply; supplying false credentials is grounds for immediate termination without refund.

4. Payments

Prices are shown at checkout, in the currency displayed, and taxes are applied where they are due. Payments are processed by third-party gateways; the Academy does not store your full card details. Recurring memberships renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellations and refunds are governed by the refund policy.

5. Intellectual property

All course material, written content, images, video, question banks and downloadable files on this site are owned by the Academy or licensed to it, and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own learning and clinical practice. You may not redistribute, resell, upload to a file-sharing service, post to a messaging group, incorporate into commercial teaching, or use them to train a machine-learning model, without written permission. See the Academy’s copyright and intellectual property pages for the full position.

6. Content you submit

When you submit a case, an image, a comment or a forum post, you keep ownership of it and grant the Academy a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to publish and edit it for educational use, with attribution. You confirm that the material is yours to submit, that it is fully de-identified, and that where a patient could still be identified you hold written consent. The Academy may decline or withdraw any submission.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to post material that is defamatory, discriminatory, misleading about clinical evidence, or in breach of another party’s rights; do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; do not scrape the member directory; and do not use the Academy’s name or marks to imply an endorsement you do not have.

8. Awards and directory listings

Nominations for the Academy’s awards are scored against published criteria by independent reviewers, and the decision of the Awards Committee is final. Awards and directory listings are not for sale, and no payment influences either.

9. Availability and third-party links

The Academy aims to keep the platform available continuously but does not guarantee uninterrupted access, and may suspend the service for maintenance. The site links to third-party resources, including our publishing partner cardiologybooks.com; those sites operate under their own terms and the Academy is not responsible for their content.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy’s liability arising from your use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service concerned. The Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income or professional opportunity.

11. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy.

12. Changes, governing law and contact

These terms may be updated; the version published at the time of your transaction governs it, and continued use after an update means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection right available to you locally. Questions go through the contact page or the legal forum.
