Platinum Members
Platinum is the Academy’s senior tier, intended for clinicians with fifteen or more years in practice who want visibility that matches the work. It carries featured placement in cardiology directories and search results, priority speaking roles at global summits, the right to nominate colleagues for Academy awards, publishing rights in the Elite Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine, a physical plaque alongside the digital badge and certificate, and consideration for the Lifetime Achievement Award.Platinum applications are reviewed by the credentials committee rather than by the standard verification process, so they take longer than the usual three working days.Everything in Gold and Silver is included. Full comparison on the Doctors’ Membership page.Is Platinum the right tier for you?Choose Platinum if your work is already substantial and the problem is that the right people cannot find it. Featured directory placement, priority speaking roles and journal publishing rights are aimed squarely at visibility rather than learning. Applications go to the credentials committee rather than through standard verification, so allow longer than the usual three working days. Platinum listings are reviewed against the same evidence every time: a recognised primary qualification, a completed specialty qualification, current council registration, and documented senior standing such as a professorial appointment, a national society office, or a sustained peer-reviewed publication record. Because the category is small by design, everything in it is checked individually rather than approved in batches. If you are comparing tiers before applying, the Gold and Silver categories set out what changes at each level, and the membership page carries the current fee, the twelve-month term and the refund position in full.
